Minor Hotels announced that it will open later this year Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah, the brand’s ninth property in the UAE. Located on the shores of the Arabian Gulf on Mina Al Arab Island in Ras Al Khaimah, Anantara Mina Al Arab is a 45-minute drive from Dubai International Airport and 15 minutes from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.

The newly built resort has 174 rooms, suites and villas. The hotel brand ensures that all accommodation is sustainably built, with furniture and accessories made from eco-friendly materials such as sustainable wood and recycled plastic fabrics. The resort will also have sustainable initiatives including greywater recycling, thermodynamics and solar panels for water heating and a water bottling plant.

All accommodation options feature a private pool with a balcony or terrace overlooking the pool, sea or surrounding landscape, peninsula and overwater villas.

Guests will enjoy the Anantara Spa, with seven treatment rooms for men, women and couples, as well as a wet area and relaxation areas. A menu of spa excursions inspired by Arab and Turkish cultures is available, including hammam rituals.

A well-equipped fitness center overlooking the lagoon will offer equipment for indoor workouts, which will be combined with a regular program of activities around the resort for sports enthusiasts, including paddle tennis courts.

Featuring its own sunken bar, an outdoor pool is located steps away from the resort’s beach, where non-motorized water sports such as stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking are available.

Mekong features Southeast Asian flavors, grilled fish and seafood at the Beach House, and international specialties from breakfast to dinner at the full-service restaurant. Additionally, a poolside bar and deli café will serve light refreshments throughout the day, while a lobby lounge will serve champagne, fine wines and delicious snacks in the evening.

Minor Hotels also highlights the resort’s location and proximity to Dubai, making it an ideal venue for various meetings and events. Exclusive weddings and intimate celebrations can be held in the resort’s grounds and gardens, while the atmosphere is perfect for small gatherings and team-building activities.

Minor Hotels’ Middle East and Africa Senior Vice President Amir Kohlberg commented, “We look forward to welcoming guests to the sustainable luxury of the upcoming Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort. Anantara’s gracious service will provide guests with an unforgettable escape in this magnificent emirate.”
