A study suggests that coffee with milk can be an ally in fighting infections

A study conducted by researchers at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark shows that consuming a drink that many people enjoy can bring health benefits. Café au lait has shown a potential anti-inflammatory effect.

In the end, they realized that immune cells that received polyphenols and amino acids (the equivalent of coffee with milk) were twice as effective in fighting inflammation as those that received only polyphenols (coffee).

In the study, we showed that when a polyphenol interacts with an amino acid, its inhibitory effect on inflammation in immune cells is increased. As such, it is clear that this combination could also have a beneficial effect against inflammation in humans.
