Fortnite’s latest Override update has introduced a new collection of developer-approved cheats, giving players access to Lobby Hack codes, special rewards and cheat codes scattered across the Battle Royale island. The additions range from character-themed Sprites and Sprite Dust to loading screens, Gizmos and other useful items.
The update also brings several familiar video game characters into Fortnite, with some appearing as Sprites that can provide useful advantages during matches. Players can unlock a selection of these rewards through the Admin Panel before entering a game.

How to redeem Fortnite Lobby Hack codes
Players can enter the codes directly through Fortnite’s Battle Royale lobby. The process uses the Admin Panel introduced as part of the Override content.
Where to find the Fortnite Admin Panel
From the Battle Royale lobby, look towards the top-right corner of the screen for the Admin Panel option.
Open the panel, type the relevant Lobby Hack code into the available field and select Submit. If the code is valid and has not already been used where a single-use restriction applies, the associated reward should then become available.
This means players do not need to visit a separate website or complete an external redemption process to claim the Lobby Hack rewards.
How Fortnite Island cheat codes work
The Override update also places cheat codes around the Fortnite island itself. These work differently from the Lobby Hack codes and effectively serve as another type of Sprite chest.
Island cheat codes come in three rarity levels: blue, purple and gold. Players can encounter them as rifts positioned on various surfaces around the map.
Each one displays a sequence of directional arrows. To unlock the reward, players need to reproduce the displayed sequence correctly.
Sonic Sprite makes island cheats easier
Players carrying the Cheat Master Sonic Sprite have an additional advantage when dealing with these island codes.
Rather than carefully following the displayed sequence, players using the Sonic Sprite can rapidly press inputs to complete the interaction, making it considerably easier to obtain the available rewards.
The feature gives the new Sprite more practical value during a match rather than making it purely a collectible addition.
Override update expands Fortnite’s crossover content
Alongside the cheat system, Fortnite Override expands the game’s already extensive crossover roster with more recognisable video game characters. The update includes references and characters associated with franchises such as Sonic, Tetris and other established gaming properties.
The combination of Lobby Hack codes and interactive island cheats also gives players two different ways to engage with the Override theme. Lobby codes provide straightforward rewards before a match begins, while island cheats add another activity to discover during Battle Royale gameplay.
For players returning for the Override update, the Admin Panel is therefore worth checking before entering a match. With most Lobby Hack codes restricted to one redemption, entering the full set can provide a quick collection of Sprites, Sprite Dust, Gizmos, loading screens and other useful rewards.
