Turkey's intention to get closer to BRICS was highlighted by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan's visit to Beijing, the highest-profile visit by a Turkish official to China since 2012.
According to the agency ReutersFidan met with Wang Yi, the Chinese Foreign Minister, and other officials, demonstrating Turkey's interest in strengthening relations with the bloc.
