Volkswagen Nivus and Fiat fastbacks went to school. The Citroën Basalt will be another compact coupe SUV option and has been fully revealed by the French manufacturer. There is just one detail: the so-called “Basalt Vision” was also presented as a concept car. But its launch in Brazil will still be in 2024, in the second half of the year.
The Basalt 2025 is part of the C-Cubed family, derived from the same CMP platform that gave rise to the C3 and C3 Aircross. Photos of the interior have not been released yet, but the trend is for it to be like its siblings, but with some improvements to do justice to the car's style.

Citroën has not yet released photos of the interior, nor has it released technical details. However, it is possible to say that the Basalt will be equipped with a 1.0 GSE Turbo T200 engine, which generates 130 hp and 20.4 kgm of torque, and will always be coupled to a CVT transmission with seven-speed simulation. It is a C3 Aircross engine and has also been tested in the C3.
