The Bentley Mulsanne, custom-built for the late Queen Elizabeth II, has returned to its home country. After more than a decade of production, the model ended its journey in 2020, with the final place reserved for the King.

The car, which was first unveiled at Pebble Beach in 2009, is now part of the Bentley Heritage Collection. Painted in solid Barnato Green, the Mulsanne’s interior combines Twine and Cumbrian leather, walnut veneer and deep lambswool carpets. Details such as privacy curtains and the Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom carved into the door tracks add a distinctive touch.

Functionally, modifications have been made to meet the Queen’s preferences. The front center armrest has been removed to create a dedicated space for the king’s wallet. On the front, a hatch hides controls for blue police lights, sirens and a loudspeaker.

The model is powered by a 6.75-litre V8 engine generating 530 hp, according to the specifications of the last 30 “6.75 Edition by Mulliner” models. These limited edition models marked not only a farewell to the four-door model, but also to the brand’s V8 engine.

The Queen’s Mulsanne joins Bentley’s heritage collection of 45 cars. It represents the third Mulsanne in the range, joining VIN 0002 and the 2019 Speed model previously in the carmaker’s press fleet.
