The UK is holding its first face-to-face meeting between G7 foreign ministers in two years, with the Covid-19 protocols in place with a seven – member committee meeting at London’s Lancaster House on Tuesday (4).

When the G7 foreign ministers came to the mask, they exchanged traditional handshakes with UK President Dominic Robb for a “touch” on the elbow or forearm, which underscores the continued threat of Govt-19.

The event will “bring together some of the world’s most important democracies for dialogue and decisive action on the most important global issues,” the British Foreign Office said in a statement.

The G7 group of industrialized nations includes the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the European Union. This year, the UK has also extended invitations to India, Australia, South Africa, South Korea and Brunei.

The British organization said the ministers’ agenda would include relations with Russia, China and Iran, the coup in Myanmar, the war in Syria and the situation in Libya, Ethiopia, Somalia, the Sahel and the Western Balkans.
