    British Foreign Secretary James Wisely on Monday condemned China’s attempts to intimidate and silence Hong Kong exiles. The move comes after Hong Kong police decided to offer more than 100,000 euros to anyone who could provide information about the eight overseas activists.

    “The UK will always uphold the universal right to free speech and support those targeted,” Wise said in a statement.

    The minister highlighted her opposition to China’s imposition of a national security law on Hong Kong, asserting that its use violates the Sino-British Joint Declaration. Asiatic colony.

    Hong Kong is seeking eight former lawyers and activists living in countries including Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
