The company is part of the Reckitt Group, a multinational company that has major brands in its portfolio, such as Veja, Vanish, Harpic, Veet, SBP, Olla, Lysol, Jontex, Bom Ar, Repelex, Dermodex, and others.

Riquet has been working in Espírito Santo since 2019 with a logistics unit previously located in the municipality of Serra. Now, it is expanding its operations with a new unit of larger capacity in the municipality of Viana.

The new distribution center in Viana will create 100 direct and indirect jobs. More than 20 suppliers from Espiritu Santo and other countries were contracted for the installation of the project, which was completed in a record time – just six months.

This is Reckitt’s third distribution center, as it is responsible for approximately 40% of the division’s entire product traffic. The Viana Distribution Center has a storage capacity of 20,000 pallet sites, which equates to more than 1 million boxes that will be transported on site.

The company’s annual projections, beginning in 2023, are to ship 13 million boxes and have annual revenues of R$1.3 billion.

In 2021, the company’s domestic operation reached 8.5 million boxes and generated R$ 810 million, catering to the demands of customers and consumers in the states of Espiritu Santo, Rio de Janeiro and the Northeast.

The Secretary of State for Planning, Álvaro Dubuque, emphasized that the country is in a privileged position. “We are within a radius of a thousand kilometers from the largest consumer centers in the country. Therefore, it is necessary for the development of the country to explore our logistics profession.”
