UA manhunt has been launched after a man fled court during a trial in Liverpool, England. Nicholas Bunclerk was sentenced to 16 months in prison on Tuesday for the attack.

The offense took place on November 19, 2021, at a pub in Southport, during an argument with another person. After hearing the sentence handed down by the judge, Bunclerk jumped out of the enclosed area of the courtroom and ran out.

The 30-year-old was on the run on Tuesday and Wednesday, with Merseyside Police sharing a photograph of him in the hope it could help recapture him.

The moment of escape occurred when he was allowed a brief interaction with his mother before being taken to a prison cell. The agents still fought, but they were unable to capture him and he escaped.

He produced himself before the police on Thursday and was sentenced to four months in jail. He apologized to the judge and the family, explaining that he had panicked and wanted to make sure his girlfriend and daughter were OK.
