Oh United Kingdom Recorded the highest number of deaths since Govit-19 Tuesday, in almost a year, as Prime Minister Boris Johnson Evaluates the easing of restrictions imposed to reduce the spread of variance Omigron.

There have been 438 new deaths reported in the country since Govt-19, the highest daily number since February 24 last year.

Health Minister Sajid Javed had earlier told parliament that measures introduced to slow the spread of Omicron would be re-measured next week as cases and hospital admissions were at an all-time high.

According to the British media, the government is considering phasing out the remaining epidemic controls in the UK, including guidelines for working from home and the use of vaccine passports.

Although infections have reached record highs in recent weeks, the speed of vaccination with booster doses and the low intensity of the Omigron variant have led to fewer hospitalizations and deaths have not risen as much as previous waves of infections.

The United Kingdom has so far recorded a total of 152,513 deaths from Govt-19, the seventh highest on the planet – most of them in the first year of the epidemic.
