this monday (30) China announced that it will reduce to Three hours a week The time a minor can play online games in the country. The new restrictions allow them to play on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only between 8pm and 9pm. During school holidays, players will be able to play for one hour every day of the week.

The rules come to prevent them (minors) from becoming “addicted” to online games. The state has also contacted game developers so they can help with restrictions, among the actions being the registration of official documents and even facial recognition.

This is not the first time that China has imposed restrictions on online games. Before the new procedure, the palace could only play 1.5 hours during the week and three hours on holidays. The restriction also prevented them from playing between 10pm and 8am.
