Woody Allen speaks out and denies retirement announcement

“Woody Allen never said he was going to retire, nor did he say he was writing another book. He said he was thinking about not making more movies because movies that go straight to streaming platforms are not as fun for him as a big movie fan experience. He has no intention of retiring and he is Excited to be in Paris to shoot his fiftieth movie.”

“My idea, in principle, is to not make movies anymore, and focus on writing. I have some short stories, well, I’m starting to think of a TV series.Allen commented.

The director is currently shooting his latest film in Paris. In recent years, Allen has focused his entire production on Europe, having lost support in the United States due to repeated accusations of abuse by his ex-wife’s daughter. Dylan Farrow.
