With a lifetime contract, Susana Vieira says she will make a “loss” for Globo · TV News

Susana Vieira joked that she will enjoy her lifelong contract with Globo for a long time. The actress explained that the network's decision to keep her in the cast, even while depriving her of many honors, was due to her “commitment, work, and joy.” “If they think I'm going to die at 82 or 83… they're completely wrong,” he said.

The veteran spoke with SBT's Vovocalizando at the launch of her autobiography, Susana Vieira: Senhora do Mio Destino, at Livraria da Travessa, in Rio de Janeiro.

The artist was asked about her contract with Globo, which she announced herself immediately after renewing it for an indefinite period.

Like I gave 53 years of my life, because I gave up [de muita coisa] To continue my artistic career, all my commitment, work and joy… Globo in return gave me a lifetime contract. Now, if they think I'm going to die at 82 or 83… they're dead wrong, because this decade runs until I'm 100.

Susana explained that she did not have any great ambitions to write about her own story, but she was impressed by the suggestion of writer Mauro Alencar, who specializes in television drama:

He added: “I have made many television series that had great importance in the lives of Brazilian women. He thought it was worth telling this story.”

She also confirmed that she is at her best. “Take Susana Vieira capsules,” he said. “I'm 80 happy and triumphant, publishing books about my life, taking stretching classes, kissing on the mouth, going to the gym. It's all right.”
