As reported by WhatsApp representatives, the app will stop working on older models starting in 2023. According to the app, these models will no longer be compatible. Users of these mobile phones who want to continue using them must purchase a mobile phone compatible with Android 4.2 systems, called Jelly Bean, or iOS 12.1.

The app will stop working on these models as they no longer support the latest operating systems. In addition, another feature that is highly requested by users is the implementation of the “accidental deletion” option. This function serves as an opportunity to reverse a message that has been deleted by mistake.

Before, when someone deleted a message by mistake, there was no turning back. However, the new version has been tested for a few months in the beta version of the messaging app. There is still no official release date for all users.

Among the models are brands of Apple, Samsung, LG, Huawei, Sony, Sony, ZTE and others. Speaking of models specifically, iPhone users who have models 5, 5C, or any other model running iOS 10 or iOS 11 will have to change models, because they will no longer support WhatsApp.

For LG, the models are as follows: LG Lucid 2; LG Optimus F7; LG Optimus L3 II Dual; LG Optimus F5; LG Optimus L5 II; LG Optimus L5 II Dual; LG Optimus L3 II; LG Optimus L7 II Dual; LG Optimus L7 II; LG Optimus F6; LG age; LG Optimus L4 II Dual; LG Optimus F3; LG Optimus L4 II; LG Optimus L2 II; and LG Optimus F3Q.

Huawei Ascend G740 models are still part of these groups; Huawei Ascend D2; Sony Xperia M; ZTE Grand X Quad v987; ZTE GrandMemo; ZTE Grand S Flex; ZTE V956 – UMi X2; Archos 53 Platinum; HTC Desire 500; Caterpillar Cat B15; THL W8; Wiko Sync Five, Wiko Darknight, Lenovo A820 and Faea F1.
