Three Chinese astronauts return to Earth after a “completely successful” mission |  technology

Three Chinese astronauts returned safely to Earth after describing a mission aboard the Chinese space station as an “absolute success,” state media reported Sunday (4).

The Shenzhou-15 spacecraft’s copper capsule has landed in the country’s north, in Inner Mongolia, according to China News Agency.

Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Le exited the plane “in good physical condition”, the agency said, calling the mission an “absolute success”.

Pictures released by state media showed doctors dressed in white wrapping the astronauts in blue blankets.

The three astronauts, as astronauts are called in China, spent six months aboard the Tiangong space station, conducting spacewalks and various experiments.

Beijing has poured billions of dollars into its space programs, which aim to catch up with the United States and Russia.

The country hopes to send a manned mission to the moon by 2030 and plans to build a base there.
