The UK has set a record for Govt-19 infections since January – International

The UK is in a “deeply concerned state” as more than 58,000 new Govt-19 infections have been reported this Friday (Oct. 10), Housing Minister Michael Covey said after a meeting since January.

The heads of government of various countries in the United Kingdom had to face “very difficult information” during the meeting chaired by the Minister and focused on the health situation.

“We know we have the highest number of Govt infections in the UK since January 9,” Cove insisted on television.

The number of cases of micron variation is “increasing every two or three days in the UK and even faster in Scotland”, he stressed.

In the UK, “30% of cases are micron variants”, which was identified 15 days ago in the country.

The variation is so widespread that even those who are vaccinated with two doses will be “sick, infected and hospitalized,” Michael Covey said.

To deal with this new wave of infections, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Wednesday that he would return to teleworking from Monday and accept a health passport for major events.

The UK is one of the most affected countries in Europe, with more than 146,000 deaths since the outbreak.

Recently, it re-established border and traffic controls or new different combat operations such as the use of masks in shops and public transport.

For his part, the Prime Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon announced that he was tightening health rules. From Saturday, anyone who shares an address with a positive test person should be isolated for 10 days.
