The UK Ambassador includes the Atletico shirt in the Mineres collection

UK Ambassador to Brazil, Stephanie Al-Qaq, posted the “Initial Toolkit for Minas Gerais” on social media. Initially, the diplomat only listed delicacies such as cachaça, cheese bread and guava paste, but he took a surprise in a new post and joked that the Atletico shirt would be missing until the kit was complete.

In their responses, Atletico fans celebrated the diplomat's memory, while some Cruzeiro residents joked that this would be her only fault.

UK Consul Lucas Browne revealed that Villa Nova is his favorite team in Minas Gerais. He noted the historical connection of the English with the growth of Nova Lima through mining. The lion, the mascot of the century-old club, is also one of the symbols of the British Crown.
