Showing the effects of the federal government’s stimulus program, which has already expired, July was a very positive month for compact hatchbacks. Proof of this is the Hyundai HB20, Volkswagen Polo and Chevrolet Onix that ran on the Fiat Strada. The attack was so strong that Truck dropped to fourth.

What is interesting is that the Hyundai HB20 is the best-selling car in Brazil in the first half of July. According to information from Finabraf, the compact Korean hatch took off like a rocket. It moved from seventh place in June to number one in the July split. Can you keep that crown until the end of the month?

As a result, the Volkswagen Polo, which was the best-selling car in Brazil in June, fell one place. Chevrolet Onix maintained its third position, but with much higher sales volume than last month. As the HB20 climbed, the Volkswagen T-Cross dropped to fifth, pushing the Fiat Mobi and Fiat Argo into one spot.

Renault Kwid And the Chevrolet Onix Plus remained in the same positions they were in last month. Fiat Cronos left the top ten to make room for the Hyundai HB20S. Incidentally, this is the first time in history that the HB20 sedan appears among the best-selling cars in Brazil. Historically, it is a model with very average sales in this segment.
