The pair announce themselves to Celso in the hospital; The doctor updates

Ze Celso Martínez remains hospitalized at the Hospital das Clínicas in São Paulo, and received a statement from her husband, Marcelo Drummond. The director’s partner remains under observation in a São Paulo hospital, after inhaling smoke in the fire that caused burns to 53% of his body.

“My love, my husband, it’s all going to be alright,” Drummond said on Instagram Wednesday night (5). “I’m following you along with faith. I’ve been following you for so long and more and more. I’m following you along.” The post resulted in supportive comments from celebrities, such as Camila Pitanga, Malo Valli, and Zio Brito, among others.

Zee’s husband and Victor Rosa, who were present at the time of the fire, tested positive for COVID-19. Doctor and actress Luciana Domschek confirmed that the two and Ricardo Bettencourt, who was also in the director’s apartment, are doing well in the same hospital.

The doctor also took the opportunity to update the playwright’s health in a video, which was released on Teatro Oficina’s profile. She noted that “Ze Celso’s body responds successfully to the care the team received” in the hospital, commenting that recovery from a situation like this is “slow”.

“Regarding the deterioration of Zee’s health, I would like to point out that in the case of Zee who is badly burned, sometimes some things go wrong in order to improve others. In this balance, Zee achieves stability, still indicating that he is alive and stable, and is closer to life in all minute.
