A pest control company in the United States is offering homeowners $2,000 (10,200 R$) to those who agree to live with 100 American cockroaches in their homes for 30 days. The purpose of the experiment is to test experimental methods of pest control.

North Carolina-based Best Informer said: Looking for 5 to 7 owners Which allows the company to release about 100 American cockroaches into their homes to test new ways to get rid of the infestation.

The trial will take about 30 days, the company said, and the pest control team will use traditional methods to eradicate cockroaches if experimental techniques do not work.

“All tested cockroach treatments will be safe for families and pets,” the company said.

“No additional treatments should be attempted for cockroaches for the duration of the study,” the statement adds, noting that humans should not interfere with the insects.

Applications for participation in the program are accepted until July 31. To participate, you must be at least 21 years old, be a proven owner of the property or, in the case of renters, provide a statement from your landlord authorizing the trial, as well as living in the USA.
