The actor of the Netflix series “Fauda” was seriously injured in the Gaza Strip

Actor Idan Amidi, 35, the star of the Netflix series “Fauda,” was seriously injured while fighting alongside Israel against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, on Monday (8).

The news was presented by co-star and star of the series, Lior Raz, who also joined the Israeli armed forces in the conflict.

“Actor and musician Idan Amidi, who joined the Israeli army after the October 7 attacks, was seriously injured today while fighting in a counter-terrorism operation against Hamas in Gaza.” He asked his fans for support: “Our thoughts are with him and his family as we pray for a speedy recovery,” he wrote on his personal Instagram page.

Sheba Tel Hashomer Medical Center, where Idan is being treated, said that the patient's condition is critical and that he is in the intensive care unit.

But the actor's father later gave an interview to the Walla website and mitigated the situation by saying: “There is no danger to his life.”

The series deals with the chaos of the conflict between Israel and Palestine and the pursuit of terrorists by infiltrated agents. The Israeli production is expected to have a fifth season.
