The State Secretariat for Social Development of the State of Minas Gerais (Sedese-MG), through the Undersecretariat for Sports (Subesp), released on Tuesday (5/9) a new list of summoned municipalities, which are part of the registration of reservation of Public Proclamation No. 013/2022 regarding Implementation of the Sports Generations Program. 25 municipalities were summoned (click here to view the document), according to the specifications contained in items 8.5, 8.5.1, 8.5.2, 8.5.3, 8.6, 8.6.1 of the competition.
The called municipalities must send the documents and information stipulated in the available checklist within 10 calendar days, starting on Tuesday. the program
The Geração Esporte Program seeks to encourage physical activity, sports and leisure. With an educational focus, it works with sports and sports para-sports in many ways to promote the development and social inclusion of students, so that children and adolescents can advance their sporting careers and become youth champions in their communities.
The procedure will be carried out after school hours, under the guidance of physical education professionals (licensed and/or with a bachelor’s degree) who will teach content about various sports and recreational activities, and develop the core values of nurturing citizens.
The Geração Esporte Program is aimed at municipal governments interested in implementing a range of sports activities after school hours, to benefit children and adolescents with and without disabilities between the ages of 6 and 17, of both sexes, clearly registered and attending public (state/municipal) or schools scholarship recipients, according to the criteria set out in the notice.
