In addition to the arrival of a – widely reported – USB-C port, a9to5Mac Propose today that iPhone 15 You may get an upgrade in reload speed. According to sources heard by the site, it should support the new font Charging up to 35 watts.

By comparison, the iPhones 14 Pro/14 Pro Max support up to 27W charging; Recharge it with that energy, so it takes about 2 hours. In contrast, iPhone 14/14 Plus devices are limited to 20W.

Last year, Apple released a 35W dual USB-C charger. If the iPhones 15 rumors are true, they’ll be able to use the accessory’s full capacity — unless another device is connected at the same time, of course.

In March this year, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also confirmed the information that the “iPhones 15” could support faster charging speeds via USB-C, but emphasized that this would only be possible with certified cables.

Earlier this week, rumors started that some of the new iPhones might support Thunderbolt/USB4 over the USB-C port, which would allow for faster data transfer and charging.

However, something that is not yet clear is whether the 35W power support will be limited to “iPhones 15 Pro / 15 Pro Max” or whether it will reach the entire line. For this, we will have to wait for the official statement from Apple, which should take place in the second week of September.
