    Services sector Gramado (RS) You will win two new projects that promise to boost local tourism. With an investment of R$9.5 million, two new restaurants will open by the end of August, creating 87 new jobs.

    With an investment of R$7.5 million, the chain of pizzerias “Heróis da Pizza”, from Santa Catarina, will open its first unit in Gramado. The project will open on Avenida das Hortências and will provide 62 jobs for the local community.

    Tchê Pierre, a fondue restaurant, will receive an investment of R$2 million and will create 25 jobs for the citizens of Grams.

    In addition to new projects, the fondue restaurant “O Chalezinho” opens about 80 jobs. With this opportunity, the out-of-home food service sector creates a total of 167 jobs for the local population.

    Gramado is one of the favorite destinations for Brazilian tourists. According to IBGE data, the activity generates more than R$1.5 billion annually for the local economy, which is about 86% of gross domestic product (GDP). Gramado receives about 6.5 million tourists annually, with the largest influx of visitors during May and August, the Brazilian winter months, and during Christmas.
