Compared to Airtel 4G, the new 5G service delivers up to thirty times faster speeds. All 5G smartphone customers will be able to enjoy Airtel 5G Plus on their data plans until wider deployment.

For use, it will only be necessary for the device to be compatible with the 5G service. The SIM cards do not need to be 5G as they will be upgraded to 5G. The cities offering the service are: Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur and Varanasi.

1. First, download the Airtel Thanks app;

2. When you open the Airtel Thanks app, you will see a banner for 5G Plus, asking you to check if your phone is 5G enabled;
