MTur will renovate Montenegro Centenary Park (RS)

The Ministry of Tourism invests 292,000 Brazilian reals in the revitalization and expansion Centennial Parkin the black Mountain (very funny). The interventions will transform the space into an important center for culture, entertainment, sports and events serving tourists and locals.

The project is a continuation of a series of works presented by the local municipality last year, which included about 15 interventions in the park, including the construction of sand soccer fields, an outdoor gym, decks over the main lake, an amphitheater and accessibility for children. Playgrounds and recreational areas, with an investment of nearly 4 million Brazilian riyals. For a series of reasons, many of these works have not been launched, leaving MTur to invest resources to complete these projects.

One of the most symbolic interventions to promote tourism activity in the area is building the informationA space for tourist information at the main entrance to the park, with an area of ​​about 27 square meters, with a reception and toilets. This equipment sold at auction for R$150,000, but it hasn’t left the drawing board yet.

According to MTur, the business will help provide a suitable structure for holding events and promoting local culture, in addition to generating employment and income opportunities.
