Microsoft's advertising plans for its Xbox consoles could be undergoing major changes in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

According to the latest issue of the newsletter Notebookby journalist Tom Warren, of The Verge, a “laboratory” I told him that Microsoft would stop promoting its video games in those regions, focusing only on Xbox Game Pass, cloud gaming, PCs, and Xbox consoles.

Microsoft has had a hard time selling the Xbox Series“It's a good idea,” Warren said.

The journalist added that he was unable to fully verify the information, and is looking for more details about it.

Interestingly, Microsoft recently released New commercial Highlighting that you don't need to have an Xbox to play Xbox, as a way to promote cloud gaming on TV, which can be played through Amazon's Fire TV Stick.
