    The feature that many have been waiting for is now available, related to using WhatsApp anonymously, where users will be able to hide “Internet” and thus choose who can see you when you are in the application.

    In addition to this novelty, others are also released for use, such as the option to leave groups in silence and block prints in single-view messages.

    How do you use WhatsApp anonymously?

    With the change, it is possible to choose who can see you when using the application, the options are: for everyone who has your number, only for your contacts, for a specific group of contacts or no one.

    Besides the possibility of removing the “Internet”, the platform announced two more new ones that the public has long requested.

    It will now be possible to leave groups silently, without notifying all participants of their departure, only administrators will be informed. Also in the changes package, screenshots are blocked in single-width messages, providing an extra layer of protection.

    While some people celebrate the arrival of the features, others regret that they are not yet available on their devices. As it deals with new functions, WhatsApp said it is releasing the changes gradually, little by little, but the new will be available to everyone.

    Step by step to remove the word “online” from WhatsApp

    Before starting the walkthrough, check the mobile app store to see if your app has been updated to the latest version of WhatsApp, if not, please update before proceeding.

    1. Open WhatsApp and go to “Settings”;
    2. Select “Account” and then “Privacy”;
    3. Then click “Last seen and online”;
    4. Choose who can see you Last seenthe options are: “Everyone”, “My contacts”, “My contacts except…” and “Nobody”);
    5. Check who can see the Internet: “everyone” or “even if it was last seen”.

    By selecting the “Nobody” option about who can see your “online” and “last seen” conversations, you also won’t be able to see this information in other people’s accounts.
