Kate Middleton reveals she has cancer

Princess Kate Middleton, 42, revealed today, Friday (22), in an announcement broadcast on social media, that she has cancer. She said she was undergoing chemotherapy sessions. Kate did not provide any other details about the disease.

In a video clip lasting two minutes and 20 seconds, Kate said that she had undergone surgery. Read the full text:

“I wanted to thank you for the messages of support. It has been a very difficult few months for our family. Thank you to my medical team.”

The palace had not previously informed her that she would undergo surgery, nor did it provide any details about what the procedure would be.
