Italy

In the last 24 hours, 16,974 Covit-19 infections and 380 deaths have been reported in Italy, according to the Ministry of Health.

16,974 new cases indicate a slight increase compared to 16,168 infections on Wednesday, although fewer tests have been performed. The previous day, 334,766 were done, and today 319,633 were done.

The total number of cases since the outbreak began in February 2020 is now 3,826,156. The 380 deaths represent a drop from 89 compared to Wednesday, and the total death toll stands at 115,937.

Pressure in Italian hospitals continues to fall, with 29,004 people admitted to hospital, 855 fewer sick than the previous day, with 510,023 currently positive.

UK

The British government says the UK has recorded 30 deaths in the last 24 hours, extending a pilot operation to more neighborhoods to control the spread of more cases with the variation found in South Africa.

The level of cases (epidemics) accumulated in Spain rose again today, from 201 (Wednesday) to 203 cases (today), detected in 100,000 people in the previous 14 days.

Navarre (437), Madrid (349), Basque Country (359), Aragon (236), Andalusia (225) and Catalonia (220) are the most autonomous communities.
