The first time the long-awaited film was shown at the Cannes Film Festival, the critical reaction wasn’t very flattering. However, everything changed in his first appearance.

Indiana Jones 5’s score on Rotten Tomatoes was around 52% with only 29 reviews, but now it has a 69% rating. The movie is a case in point, because what usually happens with blockbusters is the exact opposite. For example, Wonder Woman 1984 started at 88% and dropped to 58%.

What happened? The first reviews came from those who saw the film at Cannes that this is not a reality show. When other critics saw the movie and added their reactions, things changed. The show is much bigger, there are more opinions and that adds points to Indiana Jones and Relic of Destiny.

What’s more, as Screen Rant points out, if you were to remove the reviews from Rotten Tomatoes’ “Top Critics,” those with the highest aggregator value, the film’s score could be 80%, a much closer rating given by audiences of 88. %.

It remains to be seen if this increase will be reflected in the box office. Indiana Jones and the Relic of Destiny cost $295 million and is the thirteenth most expensive film in cinema history. First comes another one. Harrison Ford also appears in: Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
