  • Open the conversation with the chosen recipient;
  • In the bottom corner of the screen, select and hold the microphone icon;
  • Swipe your finger up until the lock icon appears;
  • Record audio normally.
  • Click on the circle containing the number 1;
  • Click the white arrow below to send the temporary message.

WhatsApp says that, like traditional messages, all single view content is protected with end-to-end encryption.
