Journalist Isabella Asumbu said she was fired by phone from TV Globo last Friday (11/26) after 41 years in the business. According to Notcias da TV, the Globo Reprter has been cut from the network due to her high salary. In a text obtained by the site, Isabella told her colleagues that resigning was “difficult.” “Today, Friday, I was fired after 41 years of working in the network. I was fired by phone. Just like that. It was tough and it was hard,” he said in the report.

“I liked what you did. But there was a lot of admiration in that partnership with you. Some old friends, others new ones. But for me, the duo you formed with each of you, the text/photo sum total…it was a partnership, work With pleasure, a dynamic duo, Chitozinho and Xoror. According to TV News, the journalist received support from colleagues and messages from the hosts of the program, Sandra Annenberg and Galeria Maria.

In addition to Assumpo, professionals such as Alberto Gaspar, Ari Peixoto, Jos Hamilton Ribeiro, Eduardo Faustini, Alexandre Oliveira and Linhares Jnior have recently been laid off by TV Globo.
