247 – With only four days left before the French presidential election, a new poll was posted on Wednesday morning (6). The 12 presidential candidates are throwing their last strength into the fray to try to impress the French.
According to the results of the poll published by Le Monde, Emmanuel Macron got 26.5% and Marine Le Pen 21.5%. Thus, they are well on their way to advance to the second round, leaving Jean-Luc Melenchon behind with 16%.
This Wednesday is marked by new campaign trips and meetings: Yannick Gadot will be in the Ba-Rhin region, Philippe Puteaux in Bordeaux, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan in Paris and Nathalie Arthod in Lille.
On Tuesday evening (5), Jean-Luc Melenchon organized 12 simultaneous meetings, having received the support of the former presidents Lula (Labour) and Dilma Rousseff (Labour).
