Luciana Cardoso, wife of the presenter Fausto Silva
She posted an open letter on Instagram, Monday (28), after her husband underwent a heart transplant. She thanked the fans for their affection and detailed what the past few days had been like, when the caller was admitted to the hospital.

“From the first day of emergency hospitalization, we already knew about the need for a transplant. After antibody panel checks and other medical details, Fausto was listed on 08/08/2023. We remained silent, as is family custom, until the treatment became in the hospital publicly.

Luciana said that, from the family’s point of view, “preserving the clinical picture” was the best option. But she noted that when the transplant was announced on the radio, family members confirmed with “complete transparency” that Fausto had indeed undergone the operation.

“From that moment on, we have received many messages of love and affection from friends, family and the Brazilian people, who count compassion as one of their values, as well as many messages of encouragement from people who have been transplanted,” she added.
