Announcing that Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Give up buying Twitterlast Friday (8), raised many feelings among Internet users on social networks.

According to the businessman, the reason for the withdrawal was due to the lack of sufficient information provided by the platform regarding the number of spam and lost accounts.

The withdrawal comes nearly three months after it was announced that the billionaire had reached an agreement with Twitter’s board of directors to buy the company for $44 billion.

In early June, Musk’s lawyers sent a letter to the Securities and Exchange Commission in which Kotb requested an assessment of the number of fake accounts out of the 229 million accounts on the platform.
