Crew and passengers feeling nauseous and diverted – Prisma

The turn of the year was not as expected for the crew and passengers who will be enjoying New Year’s Eve in Florida.

Rescuers had to take nine people from Miami International Airport to the hospital after they fell ill on a flight to Orlando.

Miami Dade Fire Rescue units responded to the call from the airport Saturday night.

Frontier Airlines flight, Airbus A321-200, number N702FR, was traveling on route F9-111, from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Orlando, when people started to feel sick.

Realizing the emergency on board, the captain decides to turn the plane back to Miami.

According to a Medical Staff Officer (MDFR), paramedics treated eight crew members and one passenger who were feeling dizzy before taking them to area hospitals.

And as of closing this text, the company hasn’t explained why this is happening.

The plane remained on the ground in Miami for at least 19 hours after landing, according to reports Air Herald.
