Compadre Washingtonone of the singers in the group É o Tchan, was taken to hospital in Salvador, Bahia, in the early hours of Friday the 29th.

According to the medical bulletin published on the group’s social media sites, the singer was hospitalized due to abdominal pain.

The bulletin says that the singer's condition is “clinically stable and he underwent tests, the results of which indicate that he suffers from acute appendicitis.” He is still undergoing “surgical programming” and there are no expectations that he will be released from the hospital.
