CNN Brasil hires former Globo and former SBT employees to strengthen itself – 02/08/2024 – TV

CNN Brasil hired three employees to strengthen its team of journalists on Thursday (8). The news channel was closed with Mauricio Noriega, former Globo; Deborah Bergamasco, former SBT correspondent, and Luciana Taddeo, the channel's new Latin America correspondent.

This information was confirmed by CNN Brasil when F5. They will all begin working on the channel's programs during next February, at a date that will be determined soon.

The signing that is attracting the most attention is Noriega. Sports journalist who spent 21 years at Globo, Mauricio Noriega will be in Domingoll every Sunday with Benjamin Back.

Noriega will also participate three times a week in CNN Novo Dia and Brasil Meio-Dia, in addition to providing sports news and analysis on the channel's website.

Deborah is well known as a political journalist with good access to information in Brasilia. She will be a political analyst in the federal capital, and will also provide information about the scenes of power.

In addition to traffic BoundDeborah Bergamasco has been at SBT since 2018, where she was a major name in political coverage and where she led Poder em Foco on Sunday nights.

Finally, Luciana Tadeo will be CNN Brasil's permanent Latin America correspondent, from Buenos Aires, Argentina. The journalist has ten years of experience in the country and will cover Brazil's neighboring countries.

The appointments made by CNN Brasil come to try to boost the content of the channel, which is enjoying a good moment in its digital world, but is losing in television audiences to Jovem Pan and GloboNews, its biggest competitors.
