Sputnik – Diana Mondino, the candidate for Argentine Foreign Minister, told Sputnik, after the presidential elections, that Argentina will not join the BRICS.

“No,” she said when asked if the country would join BRICS on January 1, 2024. “I don’t know why there is so much interest in BRICS,” Mondino added.

On Sunday (19), far-right politician Javier Miley won the presidential elections in Argentina. He takes office on December 10. Miley advocates dollarization of the economy and foreign policy targeting Israel and the United States. He is also against joining BRICS.
