Agatha Moreira’s villain will be Agro Barbie

Agatha Moreira’s villain will be Agro Barbie

After Giovanna (“Secret Truths”) and Josiane (“A Dona do Pedaço”), Agatha Moreira will embody, as of today, the third villain written by Walcyr Carrasco. In “Terra e Paixão” it will be the actress Graça, or as she knows herself: Barbie do agro, a young woman infinitely greedy.

“I say she’s my little princess, Barbie do Agro. Another villain I make of Walcyr. I think she’s less evil than the last two. She was raised as a princess and really believes she only does good for her and everyone. He does bad things without thinking it’s a bad thing” , says the actress in an interview with a columnist from splash.

When looking for similarities with her new character, Agatha states: “I think the only thing we have in common is a taste for fashion. Otherwise, she’s a very distant young woman for me. She’s greedy and goes a little too far off the curve.”

To delve deeper into the distant universe of “little Barbie”, Agatha began listening to podcasts about farming.

The time we spent in Mato Grosso do Sul, experiencing the real lives of the people there, helped me a lot in building this character. I’ve also been inspired by characters from movies and books, and searched for accent on agricultural podcasts. I also started following girls with multi-brand stores, like Graça. All of this brings me inspiration.

Another curiosity in the character’s appearance is the blonde hair. Agatha, who came from series roles, was surprised by the shortest locks:

I was so unaccustomed to it that I felt like a dummy, walking a little strangely, as if I had something hanging on. Besides, I’m blonde now, right? It is a lot of work and requires careful care.

Was she supposed to be the main character?

Still in the interview, Agatha Moreira clarifies the rumors that she was initially destined to be the heroine of “Terra e Paixão”. As reported in the news, Globo could have changed the character to be a black actress in the lead role.

Agatha says she never commented on the subject:

It’s true that I got this call for a telenovela a long time ago, but my character has always been Graça, ever since I got the synopsis. At the time, they were holding auditions to see who would play Allen, and she was the hero. I don’t care about rumors, the more I talk, the more gossip.
