The shooting took place on Monday morning (5/22), on the sidewalk of Avenue XV de Novembro, in the center of Curitiba.
After the videos spread widespread confusion about the filming location of the film Betrayal between Friends, starring Larissa Manuela and Giovanna Rispoli, on social media when a security guard was shown pushing a candy seller who tried to approach the actresses during the recording, on the sidewalk of Rua XV de November, amid Curitiba, Monday morning (22/5). Producer LC Barreto explained, via a note, what happened.
In a note sent to the press, L.C. Barreto reports that: “Production required and obtained all necessary municipal licenses to seclude part of the public park for filming installation, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on the last day of May 22,” the note began.

“All work was monitored personally by a team of the Military Police and another from the Municipal Guard to ensure the general safety of all. He added that a team of private security guards, hired specifically for the film’s production, is responsible for the actresses’ personal security.
According to the note, since the beginning of the recordings on Monday morning, a group of young people, with aggressive behavior, accompanied the actions and persistently provoked the professionals on the filming set with offensive and threatening words, shouts, gestures, and signals.
After many provocations, a young man from that group invaded the place and headed towards actress Gabrielle Joy, after he was immediately stopped by the security team, who stopped the advance of the attacker. The incident was soon resolved, the boy and his group left the scene, and filming resumed after a few minutes of stopping,” he explained.
The press producer also stated that there are no complaints or reports against the film’s production and the security team and that the recordings are proceeding normally, with everyone having a good and safe time.
