Konami Corporation today (21) announced the merger of its Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) and Winning Eleven brands. Now, the franchise has been renamed eFootball and will be completely free. The game will be released later this year to PS5and PS4 and Xbox Series S | X, Xbox One, PC and later on Android and iOS. Check out the trailer:
Completely rebuilt on the Unreal Engine, the new game will also feature an unprecedented technology called Motion Matching, which turns all player movements on the field into a series of animations, choosing the most accurate ones in real time. In doing so, the system will have four times the animation options, making matches more realistic.
With the goal of increasing its penetration into online conflicts, Konami also promises a fair and balanced experience for all players, making the title more receptive to new audiences. More information about gameplay and online modes will be released in August.
