As the name suggests, the initiative is from Vans – an original sports brand and global icon of creative expression – and is looking for young musicians around the world who celebrate some of the company’s core values: enabling creative expression and offering a new showcase for Off the Wall talents and artists.
After the success of the 2020 edition, which took place as an online competition and got more than 22,000 entries, the winners were selected as JoeJas (United kingdom), Lucia Tachetti (Argentina) E if (South Korea), the project will provide artists with the opportunity to gain international recognition in various ways.
Someone will have a chance to share the stage with the young man Youngblood, a British rock sensation, but there will also be Vans distribution, Kramer gear, a TuneCore premium package, global song distribution, a Spotify playlist and much more!

In the first qualification stage, 10 local talents will be selected and awarded with Vans products and musical equipment. The five finalists from each region will present a series of virtual parties for the project, which are scheduled to take place in September 2021.
Following this arrangement, regional winners will be chosen to receive Vans products, music equipment, and global distribution of their music, as well as integrating playlists on Spotify and Apple Music. Finally, the global winner will share the stage with YUNGBLUD LIVE!
