Today, Brazil and the United Kingdom (29) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation in the field of digital transformation. The Ministry of Economy indicated in a statement that the European country will cooperate systematically to develop strategies and implement solutions for the benefit of Brazilian public services. 
“In practical terms, digitalisation, transparency, data management, innovation and accessibility will be emphasized,” he said.
The document was signed by the Minister for Digital Government at the Ministry of Economy, Luis Felipe Monteiro, and the British Embassy’s Business Officer, Minister-Counsellor Liz Davidson.

The Memorandum of Understanding is valid until March 2023. According to the Ministry of Economy, among the planned cooperation actions are: providing training in innovation, digitization, public administration and government planning with a special focus on data management and accessibility issues; Participate in the planning and implementation of tangible digital solutions; and exchange of mutual knowledge in Brazil.
Brazil already has similar cooperation with Denmark.
