On Wednesday (2), the Interior British Ministry said that about 150 Manchester City and Chelsea fans with a history of violent behavior will be prevented from traveling to the FIFA World Cup, which will be held in the United States.

To help prevent football -related disturbances in the World Cup, fans of clubs who are already undergoing a ban on the previous violent behavior will be forced to connect their passports to the police from June 9 to July 13.

“Many Manchester City and Chelsea fans will want to travel to support their teams in the championship and we want everyone to do so safely and enjoyable,” Diana Johnson said in a statement.

“But for the small minority of rioters who use football as an excuse for crime, we will apply the same installed preventive measures that we successfully made to other championships abroad.”

The statement said that the fans concerned will be contacted by the Football Order, adding that the lack of compliance with the base may lead to an unlimited fine or a possible penalty for a period of six months in prison.

There are 2,172 requests to ban football in England and Wales, according to last year's data.
