When Indiana Jones and the Great Circle got a release date for Xbox and PC, the surprise was the reveal of a PS5 release window. Machine Games is already excited about this release, Where more players will be able to see what they have created with so much “passion and love”.
In conversation with EurogamerCreative director Axel Torvenius couldn't hide his excitement about reaching more players with his new creation:
From a Machine Games perspective, we're very excited and excited about the fact that we might also be on PlayStation next year. The more people who can play the game – and who can see all the passion and love we put into this project and all the hard work – the better.

Indiana Jones for PS5 will have proper improvements

“This is also an opportunity to point out that our technology is based on id Tech. We have our own modified version of id Tech, but it's basically a cross-platform graphics engine. So we're off to a really great start.“
The directors of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle talked about various aspects of the game in this interview, including what makes the game different from other similar games, like Uncharted, which have a similar theme.
“Yes, there are obviously a lot of good adventure games that we enjoy and love as well. But what we set out to do with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is completely different.“Torfinius comments.
One of these unique features is the first-person perspective that the game will bring, which is not very common in a genre dominated by franchises like Uncharted, Tomb Raider, and others. Reason for choosing:You will be able to be Indiana Jones himself.“
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle won't arrive on PS5 until Q2 next year. For Xbox and PC, as well as Game Pass, it will launch in December.
