A man hunted by police in England this week has gone viral on social media because he looks like a famous footballer.

As soon as Kaine Blissett's photo was released, internet users claimed he was a “lookalike” of 28-year-old Englishman Jack Grealish, star of Manchester City, the reigning champions of England's first Premier League football competition.

Kane is on Kent Police's most wanted list.

“Kane Blissett is wanted for his return to prison. He has links to Margate and Ramsgate,” Kent Police said.

Jokes quickly spread across the networks. Many said it was Grealish to use a different name to mislead the police. Others said the athlete had not been called to defend England at the European Championships in Germany after several summonses and the police were in trouble.

“This is what happens when you don't get drafted,” one user wrote.
