Survival horror was ahead of Mega Man and Devil May Cry, in a franchise that fans wanted a sequel or something new

The results of the Capcom Super Election, a poll the company conducted at the beginning of the year, were released through the Capcom Town page, where fans around the world can have their say on things like the Japanese studio's favorite characters and games, as well as any sequel or new game that everyone wants to see.
In the question of which Capcom series fans would like to see something new come out of the oven, Dino Crisis was the champion with 80,769 votes, beating out Mega Man (63,395 votes) and Devil May Cry (60,371 votes).
Players have been clamoring for a new Dino Crisis for a long time and it's becoming increasingly difficult for Capcom to ignore this demand. The last game in the series, Dino Crisis 3, was released over 20 years ago for the first Xbox.
As for the company's favorite game, Devil May Cry 5 won with 15,157 votes, beating Dino Crisis (10,978 votes) and Resident Evil 4 Remake (9,017 votes).
In Favorite Character Created by Capcom, Dante led with 26,874 votes. After him, Leon Kennedy comes in second place with 23,417 votes, then Mega Man X comes in third place with 10,550 votes.

It received votes from 254,148 people from 220 different countries, including Brazil, which represented 11% of the total, behind only the United States (28%) and Japan (21%). Of those who voted, 82% declared themselves male, 14% female, and 4% preferred not to disclose this information.
